Private Equity is Alive and Kicking

Dec 22, 2020

Frazer Hall Corporate Finance has advised, supported and completed four private equity related transactions over the last four months. These include the sale of Leigh-based Total Containment Solutions Limited to Foresight Private Equity-backed Envair Technologies Limited; the partial sale of U.S.-based Bridge Diagnostics to Carmelina Capital Partners; the partial sale of Reading-based Foundation SP to LDC; and the sale of Leeds- and Cambridge-based The Knowledge Partnership (UK) Limited to Inflexion-backed Times Higher Education.

Stephen Frazer of Frazer Hall Corporate Finance said:

“Our experience is that entrepreneurial private equity firms are recognising that the companies performing strongly in the current climate will be the winners of the future. We have seen some great management teams acknowledging the benefits of private equity bringing both capital resources and commercial discipline, as they embark upon the next phase of growth. However, the amount of time and distraction involved in preparing and executing a transaction like this must not be underestimated – the key is not to rush, but to prepare carefully. The forethought and preparation will be worth it.”
